Public Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter that the City of Nanaimo intends to sell fee simple property located at 350 and 398 Franklyn Street , Nanaimo BC and legally described as: Lots A, B and I, Section 1, Nanaimo District, Plan 5108 and the Southerly 66 Feet of Lot 1, Block 28, Section 1, Nanaimo District, Plan 584 PIDs: 006-037-674 (A), 006-037-682 (B), 006-037-712 (I) and 008-779-392 to Camargue Properties Inc. for a price of $1,600,000. Camargue Properties Inc. intends to build a four to five-storey rental building.
In the Summer of 2023, the City issued an Expression of Interest, with a submission deadline of 2023-SEP-05. Council of the City of Nanaimo will be considering the offer at the 2024-JAN-15 Council Meeting.
