It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Thomas Fewster. Born in Prince George, BC on December 4, 1950, Don moved to the island in the early 70s with his young family and settled in Nanaimo. He worked at Harmac for many years as a steam plant engineer and then as a courier driver around the island until his retirement in 2016.
Survived by his wife of 23 years, Dinah, his son Barry (Shauna) Fewster, daughter Georgia Oldfield, stepson David Solecki, grandsons Jaden (Jocelyn), Tanner (Shelby), and granddaughters Candace (Will) and Brooklyn (Brendan).
Also survived by his brother Rick and sisters Lorraine, Doreen, Julie, and Janice, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held at the Church of the Nazarene on Departure Bay Rd at 2 PM on Saturday, June 29.
