Judy Dieno

March 10, 1935 - June 17, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Dieno peacefully at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.

Judy was a force of nature who lived her entire 89 years in the Nanaimo area where she fostered a large network of friends.

Predeceased by Ralph, her husband of 58 years, Judy was a loving mom to her son Larry, a proud grandmother to Ashley, Courtney and Brittney, and a supportive Great Grandmother to Ethan and Alder.

An always busy woman, Judy worked at a bank, an insurance company, Census Canada and countless elections in addition to serving at her lifelong church and providing Income Tax assistance to seniors for over 25 years.

As a Life Master bridge player, one of her proudest achievements was being able to go on many cruises as the bridge director.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 am, Friday July 12th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 394 Shepherd Ave. Nanaimo.

A light lunch will be served following the service.
